Naujažerio akmuo su ženklais

Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis

This boulder in Žasliai, next to the Žasliai-Kaišiadorys road, is elongated, about 1.5 meters long, 0.4 to 0.6 meters wide and 0.25 meters tall, carved with a Germanic-style cross whose arms end in small crosses, with a quadrangle carved above and a circle below. Local folklore holds it may be a fragment of a nobleman's gravestone or the marker of early Christian graves, and it was believed miraculous: water used to wash the stone was given to the sick to cure them.
