Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis
On elevated ground overlooking the Bartuva River valley near Skuodas stand the remains of two ancient cemeteries. Kulų I holds both cremated and uncremated graves with grave goods typical of the 9th through 13th centuries, while Kulų II contains inhumation burials with artifacts from the 2nd and 3rd centuries, together covering roughly 98 ares within stone-walled enclosures. A neo-Gothic wooden chapel with organ pipes and decorative detailing once stood at the cemetery's center but was destroyed during the Second World War.
