Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis
In July 1941, around 800 Jews from Skuodas and the surrounding area were killed by Nazi occupiers and buried in gravel pits at this site near Kulai, west of the Skuodas Sea pond. A memorial stone bearing two linked Stars of David and inscriptions in Lithuanian and Hebrew was unveiled on May 17, 1991, enclosed by a metal fence decorated with hexagonal stars, a paved walkway and steps. Most victims' remains were reinterred in 1963 at another Jewish burial site on Šaulių Street in Skuodas.
