Skuodo muziejus

Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

Established on December 30, 1991 and opened to the public in August 1992, the Skuodas Museum occupies the historic Skuodas manor building, which had earlier served as barracks and, from 1918, a gymnasium. It holds around 22,000 artifacts spanning archaeology, history, ethnography, architecture, numismatics and folk art, presented across four permanent exhibitions: the history of Skuodas town's formation, ancient village crafts and women's work in a Žemaitija cottage, the sports history of the Skuodas region, and the region's folk art history, alongside an interactive terminal on the Apuolė hillfort settlement.
