Elektrėnų atrakcionų park - Vaikų pasaulis

Graži vieta, Vilniaus apskritis

Opened on May 1, 1986 at the initiative of power plant director Pranas Noreika, this grounds at Prano Noreikos g. 20 in Elektrėnai was built by the power plant’s own workers to a design by architect L. Majerienė. It once drew visitors from across Lithuania for its 30-meter Ferris wheel alongside rides such as the Musical Express and American-style roller coasters, but the aging Soviet-era equipment was shut down in 2013 after failing technical inspection. The site has since been repurposed as a public leisure area along the Elektrėnai lakeshore, with walking and cycling paths, two skate parks, an amphitheater, and outdoor fitness equipment.
