Strūklaka "Pieneņpūkas"

Graži vieta, Vidzeme

Four small dandelion-shaped fountains make up this playful water feature at the corner of Jaunās and Zāles streets in Limbaži, unveiled on July 3, 2017. On hot summer days the nozzles throw off a fine mist around each rounded head, an effect meant to evoke a dandelion seed cluster about to scatter, which is what draws children to run through it. Like most outdoor fountains in Latvian towns, it runs only during the warm season and is dismantled for winter.
