A walking trail winds through the more than 15-hectare park of Katvaru manor in Katvaru parish, Limbaži Municipality, laid out in a formal early-19th-century Baroque-Classicist style across two terraces beside Katvaru Lake. Old linden alleys line the lakeside terraces, with the upper terrace's lindens estimated at around 400 years old and 4-5 meters in girth. The manor buildings themselves date from the 18th-20th centuries and are a protected state architectural monument, while the park and lake remain open to visitors free of charge.
