The Lielezers nature trail is a 2.3 km one-way path in a northern Latvian biosphere reserve, running along Lake Lielezers on wooden boardwalks that cross reed beds and a small bridge over the Donaviņa stream. A bird-watching tower at the lake's northern end gives panoramic views over a wetland reported to host around 99 bird species, including ducks, herons and swans. The trail links the town beach and boat station to the tower, with the surrounding area offering boat and paddleboard rental, a children's playground, picnic spots, and winter skiing and sledding rental.
