This 57 hectare private botanical park in Kalnėnai was founded by Izidorius Navidanskas, who began planting trees in 1928 at age 16; it was designated a state-protected nature monument in 1958 as one of Lithuania's first botanical parks. It now holds 34 native and 95 introduced tree and shrub species, including birches, lindens, maples, hazels, oaks and edible chestnuts, along with seven ponds fed by the Spiginas stream that support birds and fish, with commercial fishing available.
