Graži vieta, LT

This 57-hectare botanical park in Kalnėnai village, Skuodas region, was planted by Izidorius Navidanskas starting in 1928, at age 16, using saplings he bought from Czechia, Denmark, and Germany. It was declared a state-protected monument in 1958 and a national nature monument in 1986, and holds 34 native and 95 introduced tree and shrub species, including edible chestnuts, rare in Lithuania. Three ponds and the Spiginas stream run through the grounds, supporting waterfowl and fish.
