Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

A Lutheran, later Baptist, prayer house was first built in Ylakiai in 1897; the current brick building dates to around 1932-1933. Its congregation, historically made up largely of Latvian speakers, numbers around 40 members and holds services three times a month, in Latvian with Lithuanian translation on the first and third Sundays, and in Lithuanian on the last Sunday, supported by a choir, Sunday school, youth group and prayer group, with a pastor traveling from Klaipėda.
