Visgaudžių akmuo "Karstas"

Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

This fine-grained reddish granite boulder in Visgaudžiai measures 4.2 meters long, about 1.7 meters wide and up to 2.2 meters high. Before it was dug out, only its gabled top, some 45 to 55 centimeters of it, showed above ground, giving it a coffin-like shape; believing treasure lay hidden beneath, locals excavated it with heavy machinery. It is known locally as the "Devil's Coffin."
