Vaidavas dabas taka

Žygis, Vidzeme

Vaidavas dabas taka, also known as the Raganu (Witches') nature trail, follows the Vaidava River in Ape for about 1.5 km, roughly an hour's walk. Built in 2014 as part of the Riverways water-tourism project with Vidzeme University students, it has information signs, balance elements, swings and an outdoor classroom aimed at families with children. Near the start of the trail are the Jaunās Raganu klintis (New Witches' Cliffs), Devonian sandstone outcrops up to 10 m high on the riverbank, along with the Health Spring and Eye Spring.
