Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis
This 19th century homestead in Kanopėnai belonged to Simonas Stanevičius (1799-1848), a pioneer of the Lithuanian folktale genre. Arranged around two courtyards, it includes the original residential house and a barn now serving as a museum, alongside restored outbuildings, and displays items from the writer's life and work along with regional ethnographic heritage. The site hosts literary events and traditional May Day and folklore festivals.
