Founded in 2007 on 36 ares of land, the Virginijus Mitkus Farmer's Museum in Aleksandrija preserves the region's agricultural history and rural spirit through an extensive collection of traditional tools, implements, furniture and household items displayed in reconstructed log barns, alongside motorcycles, a working smithy, stones sorted by size and type, and ironwork, covering the full historical farming cycle from plowing through grain and flax processing to carpentry, along with World War I and II artifacts and items from Latvia, Belarus and Germany.
