Laužavietė, Vorumaa
This is the traditional site of the Mehkamaa jaanituli, a Midsummer's Eve bonfire held in Mõniste as part of the wider Jaaninädal celebrations organized across Rõuge municipality. The gathering has historically started at 20:00 in Mõniste's 1840s manor park, near the Mõniste rahvamaja in Kuutsi village, which has served as the area's cultural hub since 1940 and was rebuilt and reopened in 2008. Programming has included live music from local ensembles, though the municipality has in some years moved the bonfire to a different park in the region, so the exact venue can vary by year.
