Set up in Saru village within Rõuge Municipality, this animal park was established in 2007 to let visitors observe forest animals and birds, including bears, elk, roe deer, lynx, and foxes, in natural-like enclosures, while also supporting the rehabilitation of injured wildlife. The collection has grown to roughly 24 species. Visits require advance phone booking rather than unannounced arrival.
