The coast of the Nemunas River near the historical town of Veliuona offers excellent outdoor spots for bottom and spinning fishing. The river is full of starlings, pike, shad and large field catfish in the deep areas of the channel. A wonderful landscape of the Panemunisi Regional Park opens up from the shore.
