Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis

This early 20th-century wooden house next to the former cinema is one of the few surviving examples of traditional wooden architecture built for Jewish-run businesses; the majority of the town's population before World War II was Jewish, active in trade and communal life. Built gable-end to the street, right at the sidewalk, in the style of rural residential houses adapted for commerce, it formerly housed an ale-house and a small grocery shop. Today it is privately owned housing.
