Maisiejūnų-Surgantiškių pilkapiai

Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis

This barrow cemetery on a hill covered in shrubs originally held 43 densely packed burial mounds, 5 to 10 meters in diameter and up to 1 meter high, though many are now flattened. Though a protected cultural monument, it has been damaged by treasure hunters. Locally called "Kapinėlės" (little cemetery), local lore says Frenchmen, likely from the Napoleonic Wars, are buried there.
