Kandavos senamiesčio promenada

Graži vieta, Kurzeme

This promenade was built in 2011 as part of an ERAF-funded reconstruction of Kandava's historic center. It follows a stream with stone-lined banks crossed by seven small footbridges, and features the sculpture "Ozolzīle" by artist Valtis Barkāns, plus a "European Path" laid out in 2012 with paving stones naming European municipalities. The playground area was upgraded in 2019 and 2020 with climbing structures, exercise equipment, new swings, and two ground-level trampolines.
