This recreation area sits beside a small pond next to the Šauklių riedulynas, a 79-hectare glacial boulder field in the Skuodas district near Salantai Regional Park, reached from the Plungė to Skuodas road. It provides a resting spot with picnic shelters, an outdoor stage, an outhouse, and play space for children, serving visitors who come to walk the boulder field's 2 kilometer nature trail or climb its observation tower. The surrounding tundra-like terrain was shaped by the last ice age and holds stones up to 3 meters across alongside juniper thickets reaching 6 meters tall.
