One of three originally protected old pines in Varkališkiai forest, this was the district's second-largest pine and Lithuania's third-largest by trunk diameter, measuring 4.05 meters in circumference, 26 meters tall, 134 centimeters in diameter and an estimated 220-plus years old. The tree has since died.
