Running almost 5 kilometers along the banks of the Rēzekne River, this pedestrian promenade links several of the city’s key landmarks, including the Latgale Embassy GORS concert hall, Rēzekne Castle Mound, the Zeimuļs creative center and the Rēzekne Olympic Center. A 2021 extension added a new section of the route, and the right bank now includes a designated recreation area with a sand beach. Visitors can also follow the river’s story through "Pret Straumi" (Against the Current), a walking-based educational game accessed via a mobile app.
