On the left bank of the Bartuva River in Mosėdis, this hillfort has an irregularly oval plateau about 100 by 60 meters, defended by ramparts and a moat. Built between the first millennium and the 13th century, it suffered significant damage when a manor was established here in the 16th and 17th centuries. Pottery fragments and evidence of several rebuildings of its defenses have been found at the site.
