Minija landscape reserve protects a picturesque stretch of the Minija river valley between Kretinga and Plungė districts, within Salantai Regional Park, covering about 1,254 hectares. It includes spring-fed ravines, the unusual Mišupė gorge, and old oak-ash slope forests rich in protected plant species.
