This memorial monument, "Sraigtas" ("The Propeller"), marks where a Soviet aircraft crashed. In 1963, pupils of the Pravieniškės eight-year school accidentally found the plane embedded in the ground in the forest; it had been shot down on June 26, 1944 in an air battle by a German pilot, killing Soviet pilot Dmitrijus Otiakovskis. The memorial was unveiled at the site in 1986.
