This city-centre park in Valga occupies the former garden of Kaagjärve manor and took its current form in the early 20th century after the Säde Society built its hall there and added a concert space where audiences once sat on white chairs. A pond, once home to swans and a decorative swan house, still anchors the grounds today alongside shaded, tree-lined paths and benches. The park now holds the Nipernaadi statue honouring writer August Gailit and a memorial to Valga County's repressed victims.
