The forests on the northern edge of the Anykščiai district offer great outdoor spots for traditional mushroom picking. In the autumn, true boletus sprouts abundantly in mature spruce trees, and in the hills you can find squirrels and red tops. The territory is easily accessible by local country roads from the Troškūnai town side.
