The mouth of the Nevēžis River and the coasts at Raudondvariu in the Kaunas district are a popular outdoor fishing area. Fishermen gather here to catch roach, whiting, perch and pike in the calmer flow of the river near the confluence. The place is easily accessible by car and outdoor tracks.
