Kempingas, Kurzeme
Lighthouse Beņķi is a camping site on the Kurzeme coast in Užava parish, Ventspils municipality, built by hand by its owners starting in 2019 and opened to guests in 2024. It borders a shoreline whose composition shifts seasonally between stone-covered and amber-colored sand, backed by a pine forest with moss-covered paths used for mushroom and berry picking. Its distance from urban lighting gives clear night views of the Milky Way and occasional northern lights. Guests stay in handcrafted wooden cottages built on site.
