Set in coniferous forest at Lejas Lukstos in Vaives parish, roughly 7 km from Cēsis toward Vecpiebalga, this facility runs illuminated cross-country ski trails with steep climbs and descents suited to both classical and skate technique, backed by a licensed biathlon shooting range for 10, 25, and 50-meter rifle distances. In summer the same grounds convert to a 3-kilometer asphalt roller-skiing loop, two Nordic walking trails totaling 6 kilometers, and a mountain-bike track, with live-stream cameras covering the biathlon course. It operates as part of the Cēsis Olympic Center's winter sports complex, administered from Cēsis.
