Pakalnės pažintinis takas

Žygis, Klaipėdos apskritis

This 3.5 km circular route crosses the Pakalnė polder landscape on Rusnė island, following the Pakalnė and Rusnaitė branches of the Nemunas delta, and takes most walkers about one to one and a half hours to finish. Along the way it passes flooded meadows and information boards explaining the local soils, polder drainage systems, and wildlife, with deer, wild boar, beavers, and white-tailed eagles all recorded in the area. Its best-known feature is an elevated viewing platform built into a tree and nicknamed the eagle's nest, plus a rest area with a fireplace near the Rusnaitė end of the trail.
