Along the Pakalnė educational trail on Rusnė Island, in the Nemunas Delta Regional Park, a wooden viewing platform has been built up into a tree beside the Pakalnė River, nicknamed the 'eagle's nest' for its improvised construction. It gives visitors a vantage point over the surrounding polder landscape of flooded meadows, drainage channels and reed beds that make up this part of the delta. The platform sits along the 3.5 km loop trail that starts and ends near the regional park's information center outside Rusnė.
