Commissioned by the Ariogala Land Reclamation Board and erected in 1977 near the Žemaičiai highway, this 4 meter colored concrete sculpture by Bernardas Bučas, husband of the poet Salomėja Nėris, was moved to Vytauto street in Ariogala after Soviet officials travelling to Palanga found it resembled a cross too closely.
