Žygis, Vilniaus apskritis
This circular educational trail in Pavilniai Regional Park follows the Vilnia river past the Pūčkoriai outcrop, at 65 meters high and 260 meters wide the tallest Ice Age exposure in Lithuania, protected as a geological monument since 1974 and showing sediment layers roughly 20,000 years old. Three route options of 2.8, 3.7, and 5.3 kilometers begin either at the historic Belmontas mill or at the top of the outcrop, both with parking, and take roughly one to three hours to walk. Along the way it passes the remains of the Pūčkoriai farmstead, a former cannon foundry, a small hillfort, and a sundial, with observation platforms and benches built at the outcrop itself.
