Raubonių vandens malūnas-karšykla-verpykla

Graži vieta, Panevėžio apskritis

Built in 1860 by landowner Liudvikas fon Ropas on the bank of the Tatula stream, this red-brick, two-story mill replaced an earlier wooden mill recorded on the same site as far back as the 1740s. In 1907 new owner Jonas Ribė added wool carding and spinning equipment sourced from England and Sweden, turning the grain mill into a combined textile facility. The complex kept milling grain until 1985 and processing wool until 1997, and after a 2018-2023 restoration it reopened as a heritage site where visitors can watch wool-processing and bread-making demonstrations.
