Zebrus un Svētes ezers is a 913-hectare reserve in the Lielauce uplands established in 1957 to protect the Zebrus and Svētes lakes together with surrounding bogs and mineral-rich springs. In 2001 the rare yellow lady's slipper orchid was rediscovered here after a 60-year absence.
