Standing on its own hill on the right bank of the Kražantė River, this hillfort has an oval plateau measuring 65 by 45 meters, where fragments of coarse and smooth pottery have been found, and a 120 meter rampart, 2 meters high and 17 meters wide, runs along three sides. Historians believe this was the site of Kražiai Castle, first documented in 1253 and standing until 1394.
