The oldest surviving building in Stoniškiai village is its original railway station, a two-story structure of yellow brick raised around 1875 when the line reached the area, on what is now the Klaipėda to Pagėgiai route. Passenger service later moved to a newer station building further along the tracks, leaving this older structure disused for decades. The Vydūnas Public Library's Stoniškiai branch has included the old station as a stop on a local heritage walking route documenting notable places across the seniūnija, alongside nearby historic villages, a former opoka stone quarry, and old manor sites.
