This slip in the center of Brocēni was built with EU funding to give boats access to Ciecere Lake. According to local anglers, it functions as the recognized boat launch point on this stretch of shore, letting trailered boats enter the water directly from the town center. Motor use on parts of the lake is restricted, with the boundaries of no-petrol-motor zones tracked through a fishing app rather than posted at the site itself.
