This state-protected homestead in Daukšiai reflects the folk architecture of western Žemaitija, its present form dating to the early 20th century and combining a 19th century granary and barn with newer buildings. A half-hipped roof with decorative finials, typical of the region, tops the residential house, which briefly served as the village school between 1961 and 1965; a 19th century wooden chapel on the grounds holds its own sacred sculptures.
