This 30-meter observation tower stands in the ethnographic village of Puvočiai, Varėnos district, within Dzūkija National Park between Merkinė and Marcinkonys. It was built as a mobile-network mast, originally by Omnitel and now operated by Telia, with a public viewing platform added under an agreement with the national park administration. Admission to the platform is free, and it offers a panoramic view over the surrounding Dzūkija forests.
