Žygis, Alytaus apskritis
A long and picturesque hiking route in the Varėna district, connecting the historical town of Merkinė with the village of Marcinkonii in the Dzūkija National Park. This route leads through picturesque sandy forest roads, the valleys of the fast-flowing Łas river, the village of Zervynys and the edges of the Čepkelės raist. The trail is free, marked, and you will need good physical endurance and comfortable hiking shoes to overcome it.
