Iškylos vieta, Utenos apskritis
Lake Giedrys lies in the Utena district of eastern Lithuania, about 2 kilometers east of Sudeikiai and just east of Lake Alaušas' southeastern shore. The lake stretches roughly 1.27 kilometers with a maximum width of 0.61 kilometers and a depth reaching 11 meters, its basin shaped by a retreating glacier. Anglers fish here for bream, carp, crucian carp, pike-perch, pike, burbot and rudd, and the higher northeastern shore near the villages of Rukliai and Salos is suitable for camping while the southern shore is marshy. Two rural tourism farmsteads operate in the immediate area, offering lakeside accommodation close to both Giedrys and the neighboring Lake Alaušas.
