This hemispherical hill near Barstyčiai, 95 meters long and 75 meters wide and rising 8 to 10 meters above the surrounding land, is entirely covered in spruce and pine over its 0.9 hectares. Known as Witch's Mountain, it is the subject of local legends describing a benevolent witch who once warned a duke of danger, gatherings of witches, and a finely dressed woman seen descending the hill before vanishing; residents long avoided passing it at night.
