This small public square in the Grīva district of Daugavpils, locally known as Sēlijas skvērs after the street it sits on, was rebuilt between October 2021 and spring 2022. The renovation added paved walking paths, benches, outdoor exercise equipment, and a playground designed for children aged 6 to 12, alongside a separate rest area for older residents. Following a 2021 community meeting, the project also added security fencing along the street and video surveillance cameras. It serves as a neighborhood recreation space rather than a large city park.
