This rest area sits along the Saidė educational trail, a short (roughly 0.75-1 km) forest path in Neris Regional Park that follows the Saidė stream from its stony confluence with the Neris River up to the Stirniai hillfort. The route passes moss-covered boulders and tall trees on steep slopes, a scene often described as more Scandinavian than typically Lithuanian, and crosses a small footbridge over the stream. A long wooden staircase leads up to the hillfort, making the rest area a natural stopping point for walkers.
