Nevočių ąžuolas

Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

This oak in Nevočiai, with a girth of 3.44 meters at 1.3 meters height, marks a spot once shared by three neighboring homesteads, Dargiai, Jonkai and Rimkai, whose residents were said to live close enough to shake hands through their windows. By 1991 only the Leilionai homestead remained, and it too was demolished that year, leaving just its foundation stones. The oak is protected as a natural heritage object by Skuodas district municipality.
