Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

This 19th century rectory in the center of Mosėdis, with a rectangular volume and a regionally typical hipped roof decorated with ornamental cornices, wooden window frames and profiled lintels, once housed priest, publicist and writer Kazimieras Pakalniškis from 1890 to 1895, followed by writer and literary critic Juozas Tumas-Vaižgantas from 1895 to 1898, who founded and edited the underground publication "Tėvynės sargas" here during a period of press censorship.
